Bill CDB-HISTORIC AREA PREFERENCE Amends the Capital Development Board Act. When locating its facilities, requires that the State give preference to historic properties located in historic or central business districts. Exempts certain facilities. Prohibits the Capital Development Board from assisting projects that are not in compliance with the preference. Illinois HB 1355 (95th) — CDB-HISTORIC AREA PREFERENCE

Amends the Capital Development Board Act. When locating its facilities, requires that the State give preference to historic properties located in historic or central business districts. Exempts certain facilities. Prohibits the Capital Development Board from assisting projects that are not in compliance with the preference. Effective immediately.
