Bill PROFESSIONS-AUCTIONEERS Amends the Auction License Act. Provides that Internet auction storefronts are subject to the same laws and rules as auctioneers. Provides that a license that expires on September 30, 2009 shall instead expire on December 31, 2010, and thereafter a license shall expire every 2 years on December 31 of each even-numbered year. Provides that a renewal applicant for an auctioneer's (or associate's) license may complete continuing education courses in one day. Provides that a renewal applicant may receive credit in this State for similar continuing education courses in other states. Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act. Illinois HB 1406 (95th) — PROFESSIONS-AUCTIONEERS

Amends the Auction License Act. Provides that Internet auction storefronts are subject to the same laws and rules as auctioneers. Provides that a license that expires on September 30, 2009 shall instead expire on December 31, 2010, and thereafter a license shall expire every 2 years on December 31 of each even-numbered year. Provides that a renewal applicant for an auctioneer's (or associate's) license may complete continuing education courses in one day. Provides that a renewal applicant may receive credit in this State for similar continuing education courses in other states. Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act.
