Bill	SCH CD-REQUIRE BULLYING POLICY	Amends the School Code. Provides that, beginning 180 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act, each school district shall create and maintain a policy on bullying, which policy must be filed with the State Board of Education. Provides that the policy must be updated every 2 years and filed with the State Board after being updated. Provides that the State Board shall monitor the implementation of these policies. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Illinois HB 18 (95th) — SCH CD-REQUIRE BULLYING POLICY

Amends the School Code. Provides that, beginning 180 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act, each school district shall create and maintain a policy on bullying, which policy must be filed with the State Board of Education. Provides that the policy must be updated every 2 years and filed with the State Board after being updated. Provides that the State Board shall monitor the implementation of these policies.
