Bill TAXI SAFETY ACT OF 2007 Creates the Taxi Safety Act of 2007. Requires certain information to be posted in each taxicab. Illinois HB 3412 (95th) — TAXI SAFETY ACT OF 2007

Creates the Taxi Safety Act of 2007. Requires certain information to be posted in each taxicab. Provides that, if a taxi driver collides with a pedestrian while operating a taxicab, resulting in bodily injury, then any responding law enforcement officers must test the taxi driver for drug and alcohol use. Preempts home rule powers.
