Bill LOCGOV-ANNEXATION Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Illinois HB 3597 (95th) — LOCGOV-ANNEXATION

Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that certain counties are excluded from a provision of the Illinois Municipal Code that provides that property within the county that is covered by an annexation agreement is subject to the ordinances, control, and jurisdiction of the annexing municipality, unless the county board elects to be covered by that provision by a vote of two-thirds of its members.
