Illinois HB 405 (95th) — TAX RATE-FOREST PRESERVE ZOO
Amends the Forest Preserve Zoological Parks Act. Provides that, in a forest preserve district located in a county with a population in excess of 140,000 but less than 200,000 and contiguous to the Mississippi River, the rate of an annual tax for certain purposes concerning the construction, maintenance, and security of a zoological park shall not exceed 0.06% (now .01%).
