Bill CNTY CD-TREASURER Amends the Counties Code. Provides that the county board may remove the county treasurer from office if he or she refuses to provide the county board with certain information concerning the accounts maintained by the county treasurer's office or if he or she refuses to render an account or make settlement as required by law (instead of as required by law or by the county board). Illinois HB 4353 (95th) — CNTY CD-TREASURER

Amends the Counties Code. Provides that the county board may remove the county treasurer from office if he or she refuses to provide the county board with certain information concerning the accounts maintained by the county treasurer's office or if he or she refuses to render an account or make settlement as required by law (instead of as required by law or by the county board). Effective immediately.
