Bill PENSION SERVICE CONTRIBUTIONS Amends the State Employees Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that an employee who worked as a nurse under a contractual agreement for the Department of Public Aid or its successor agency, the Department of Human services, in the Client Assessment Unit and was subsequently determined to be a State employee by the United States Internal Revenue Service and Illinois Labor Relations Board may establish creditable service for those contractual services. Illinois SB 1481 (95th) — PENSION SERVICE CONTRIBUTIONS

Amends the State Employees Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that an employee who worked as a nurse under a contractual agreement for the Department of Public Aid or its successor agency, the Department of Human services, in the Client Assessment Unit and was subsequently determined to be a State employee by the United States Internal Revenue Service and Illinois Labor Relations Board may establish creditable service for those contractual services. Exempts the changes from new benefit increase provisions. Effective immediately.
