Bill COUNTY DETENTION HOMES Amends the County Shelter Care and Detention Home Act. Provides that, if the county board of any county has levied a tax for a detention home and cannot adequately support the facility, the county board may expend the tax receipts for detention services purchased through agreements with other governmental units. Illinois HB 347 (96th) — COUNTY DETENTION HOMES

Amends the County Shelter Care and Detention Home Act. Provides that, if the county board of any county has levied a tax for a detention home and cannot adequately support the facility, the county board may expend the tax receipts for detention services purchased through agreements with other governmental units. Effective immediately.
