| Bill | CIR CLERK-ELECTRONIC NOTICE | Amends the Clerks of Courts Act. Provides that when the circuit clerk is required to provide notice to a party, and the party has registered an electronic address with the circuit clerk, the circuit clerk may provide the notice via the electronic address. Provides that the circuit clerk shall maintain a copy of the electronic content and a delivery receipt in his or her records. Illinois HB 5381 (96th) — CIR CLERK-ELECTRONIC NOTICE
Amends the Clerks of Courts Act. Provides that when the circuit clerk is required to provide notice to a party, and the party has registered an electronic address with the circuit clerk, the circuit clerk may provide the notice via the electronic address. Provides that the circuit clerk shall maintain a copy of the electronic content and a delivery receipt in his or her records.
