Bill INTERMODAL FACILITIES PROMO Creates the Intermodal Facilities Promotion Act. Provides that the incremental income tax attributable to a new employee of an individual, partnership, corporation, or other entity that owns and operates an intermodal terminal facility in the City of Joliet shall be deposited into the Intermodal Facilities Promotion Fund. Provides that moneys in the Fund shall be used by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to make grants to the eligible developer for infrastructure improvements. Illinois SB 1342 (96th) — INTERMODAL FACILITIES PROMO

Creates the Intermodal Facilities Promotion Act. Provides that the incremental income tax attributable to a new employee of an individual, partnership, corporation, or other entity that owns and operates an intermodal terminal facility in the City of Joliet shall be deposited into the Intermodal Facilities Promotion Fund.
