Bill SOS-CORPORATIONS-RECORDER Amends the Business Corporation Act of 1983 and the General Not For Profit Corporation Act of 1986. Eliminates requirements for filing copies of certain documents in the office of the county recorder, including articles of amendment reflecting an election to become a close corporation, an application for an assumed corporate name, a change of registered office or registered agent, articles of merger of a domestic corporation and a limited liability company, a certificate of administrative dissolution of a corporation, a court order of dissolution, and a certificate of revocation of authority of a foreign corporation to transact business in this State. Illinois SB 3211 (96th) — SOS-CORPORATIONS-RECORDER
