Bill PROP TX-DELINQUENT TX LAST DAY Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that any person owning or claiming a property upon which application for judgment is applied for and any lienholder of record may pay the taxes and costs due at any time on or before the business day immediately preceding the commencement of the sale of that property (instead of "at any time before sale"). Illinois HB 1218 (97th) — PROP TX-DELINQUENT TX LAST DAY

Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that any person owning or claiming a property upon which application for judgment is applied for and any lienholder of record may pay the taxes and costs due at any time on or before the business day immediately preceding the commencement of the sale of that property (instead of "at any time before sale"). Defines "business day". Effective immediately.
