Bill UTILITIES - VETERANS Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that notwithstanding any other provision of the Act, no utility during the period of time from December 1 through and including March 31 may disconnect service to any residential premises of which a service member or veteran is a primary occupant. Illinois HB 1260 (97th) — UTILITIES - VETERANS

Amends the Public Utilities Act. Provides that notwithstanding any other provision of the Act, no utility during the period of time from December 1 through and including March 31 may disconnect service to any residential premises of which a service member or veteran is a primary occupant. Defines "veteran".
