Illinois HB 1315 (97th) — VEH CD-RIDING IN CARGO AREAS
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that no person may occupy a vehicle or the cargo area of a second division vehicle while it is being towed upon a public highway. Creates an exemption when the vehicle does not exceed 15 miles per hour and is used in connection with a parade or farming activity, or if the speed does not exceed 15 miles per hour and the passenger is over 18.
