Bill END DISPARITIES COMMISSION Creates the Commission to End the Disparities Facing the African-American Community Act. Provides that the Commission shall consist of 24 members. Sets forth the appointment of the members. Provides that, by January 1, 2013 and each January 1 thereafter, the Commission must report to the Governor and General Assembly on the disparities facing African-Americans in the areas of education, healthcare, healthcare services, and employment. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall provide administrative and other support to the Commission. Illinois HB 1547 (97th) — END DISPARITIES COMMISSION

Creates the Commission to End the Disparities Facing the African-American Community Act. Provides that the Commission shall consist of 24 members. Sets forth the appointment of the members. Provides that, by January 1, 2013 and each January 1 thereafter, the Commission must report to the Governor and General Assembly on the disparities facing African-Americans in the areas of education, healthcare, healthcare services, and employment. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall provide administrative and other support to the Commission. Effective immediately.
