Provides that the corporate authorities of a municipality may fix, charge, and collect fees not exceeding the reasonable cost of the service for all emergency services rendered by the municipality against persons, businesses, and other entities who are not residents of the municipality. Specifies that the fee shall be computed at a rate not to exceed $250 per hour for emergency assistance. Provides that no fee shall be imposed for fire and rescue services when the total cost is less than $50. Illinois HB 1981 (97th) — MUNI CD-FEE-EMERGENCY SERVICES
Amends the Illinois Municipal Code.
