Illinois HB 2001 (97th) — IEPA-OPEN DUMPING-PENALTIES
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that it is a Class 4 felony to openly dump more than 250 cubic feet of waste or 50 waste tires (presently, the penalty for a first violation of the open dumping prohibition is a Class A misdemeanor, regardless of the quantity of waste dumped).
