Bill PUB AID-TANF-RECIPIENT Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Changes the definition of the term "recipient", as used in specified provisions under the Code, to mean persons who receive aid under the Temporary Assistance For Needy Families (TANF) Program for themselves and parents who are ineligible to receive TANF for themselves because of a criminal conviction, but who are receiving TANF for their children (rather than only persons receiving aid under the TANF program). Illinois HB 2934 (97th) — PUB AID-TANF-RECIPIENT

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Changes the definition of the term "recipient", as used in specified provisions under the Code, to mean persons who receive aid under the Temporary Assistance For Needy Families (TANF) Program for themselves and parents who are ineligible to receive TANF for themselves because of a criminal conviction, but who are receiving TANF for their children (rather than only persons receiving aid under the TANF program). Effective immediately.
