In provisions concerning physical ability examinations, provides that the tests utilized to measure each applicant's capabilities may be tests based on industry standards currently in use or equivalent tests approved by the Joint Labor-Management Committee of the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Provides that a passing score on the written examination is one that is at or above the median (now, mean) score for all applicants.
