Bill IDPH-NURSING HOME-MONITOR-RPTS Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Provides that the Department of Public Health's placement of a monitor in a long-term care facility shall be for the purpose of working with the facility in a collaborative manner to achieve compliance with State regulations. Provides that the monitor shall file a written report (instead of report periodically) with the Department and also with the facility. Requires the monitor to participate in a meeting with the Department's regional representative and the facility. Illinois HB 5019 (97th) — IDPH-NURSING HOME-MONITOR-RPTS

Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Provides that the Department of Public Health's placement of a monitor in a long-term care facility shall be for the purpose of working with the facility in a collaborative manner to achieve compliance with State regulations. Provides that the monitor shall file a written report (instead of report periodically) with the Department and also with the facility. Requires the monitor to participate in a meeting with the Department's regional representative and the facility. Effective immediately.
