Bill VEH CD-CDL TEXTING & CELL USE Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a driver may not use a hand-held mobile telephone or engage in texting while driving a commercial motor vehicle. Illinois HB 5101 (97th) — VEH CD-CDL TEXTING & CELL USE

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a driver may not use a hand-held mobile telephone or engage in texting while driving a commercial motor vehicle. Provides exceptions.
