Bill DHS-CHILDREN&FAM SRVCS-GRANTS Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Eliminates a provision allowing the Department of Human Services to make grants-in-aid to units of local government, voluntary agencies, and not-for-profit associations which provide day care services. Illinois SB 1235 (97th) — DHS-CHILDREN&FAM SRVCS-GRANTS

Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Eliminates a provision allowing the Department of Human Services to make grants-in-aid to units of local government, voluntary agencies, and not-for-profit associations which provide day care services. Eliminates a provision authorizing the Department to establish the Child Care Expansion Program. Effective immediately.
