Bill DPT VET AFF-QUINCY VET HOME Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act. Provides that a veteran who is a resident of a state bordering the State of Illinois may be admitted to the Quincy Veterans Home and shall pay a monthly maintenance fee no less than the full cost of care established under the Act. Illinois SB 1640 (97th) — DPT VET AFF-QUINCY VET HOME

Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act. Provides that a veteran who is a resident of a state bordering the State of Illinois may be admitted to the Quincy Veterans Home and shall pay a monthly maintenance fee no less than the full cost of care established under the Act. Provides that preference for filling vacant beds or placement on any waiting list shall be granted first to all Illinois residents identified in this Act.
