Bill SENIOR ILLINOISANS HALL FAME Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Provides that older direct care workers who receive awards from the Department on Aging shall be honored in conjunction with the Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame awards (rather than before their peers at the Governor's Conference on Aging or at a similar venue). Requires the Department to request nominations no later than July 1, 2011, and every May 1 thereafter. Illinois SB 1968 (97th) — SENIOR ILLINOISANS HALL FAME

Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Provides that older direct care workers who receive awards from the Department on Aging shall be honored in conjunction with the Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame awards (rather than before their peers at the Governor's Conference on Aging or at a similar venue). Requires the Department to request nominations no later than July 1, 2011, and every May 1 thereafter. Effective immediately.
