Bill OPTOMETRIST-RECORDS-DISCIPLINE Amends the Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987. Provides that every licensed optometrist shall keep a record of examinations made and prescriptions issued and shall be retained in the office in which such professional service was rendered or in a secure offsite storage facility. Provides that all fines collected as a result of discipline by the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation shall be deposited in the Optometric Licensing and Disciplinary Board Fund. Illinois SB 3538 (97th) — OPTOMETRIST-RECORDS-DISCIPLINE

Amends the Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987. Provides that every licensed optometrist shall keep a record of examinations made and prescriptions issued and shall be retained in the office in which such professional service was rendered or in a secure offsite storage facility.
