Bill CIVIC CENTER EMERGENCY SHELTER Amends the Civic Center Code. Provides that the Authority shall make buildings of a civic center organized under this Code available for emergency purposes. Provides that the Authority shall cooperate in all matters with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, local emergency management agencies, a State-accredited emergency management agency with jurisdiction, local public health departments, the American Red Cross, and federal agencies concerned with emergency preparedness and response. Illinois HB 2737 (98th) — CIVIC CENTER EMERGENCY SHELTER

Amends the Civic Center Code. Provides that the Authority shall make buildings of a civic center organized under this Code available for emergency purposes. Provides that the Authority shall cooperate in all matters with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, local emergency management agencies, a State-accredited emergency management agency with jurisdiction, local public health departments, the American Red Cross, and federal agencies concerned with emergency preparedness and response. Effective immediately.
