Bill PAWN-CONSIGN, RECYCLABLE METAL Amends the Pawnbroker Regulation Act. Changes the short title of the Act to the Pawnbroker, Consignment Shop, Secondhand Shop, and Recyclable Metal Shop Regulation Act. Provides for the licensure and regulation of consignment shops, secondhand shops, and recyclable metal shops in the same manner as pawnshops. Defines "consignment shop", "secondhand shop", and "recyclable metal shop". Amends the Recyclable Metal Purchase Registration Law. Changes the definition of "recyclable metal" to include gold, silver, platinum, or other precious metal used in jewelry, and "recyclable metal dealer" to include any business whose primary purpose is the purchase and sale of precious metals, secondhand jewelry, or items that contain precious metals. Illinois HB 3359 (98th) — PAWN-CONSIGN, RECYCLABLE METAL
