| Bill | MIGRANT LABOR CAMPS | Amends the Illinois Migrant Labor Camp Law. Provides that a license to operate a migrant labor camp shall expire on December 31 of the year in which the license was issued regardless of the date on which the application for a license was submitted. Requires the Department of Public Health to inspect the migrant labor camp site and the facilities described in an application for a license to operate a migrant labor camp at the Department's earliest opportunity. Provides that an application for a license or for a renewal of a license shall be filed at least 5 business days (instead of 60 days) prior to the date on which the migrant labor camp is to start operation. Provides that the camp shall be ready for inspection at least 3 business days (instead of 30 days) prior to the date on which the migrant labor camp is to start operation. Provides for penalties and fines based on the severity of a violation of the Act or the rules adopted under the Act. Provides procedures concerning the imposition of penalties.
