Bill RESCUE SQUAD DIST-BD ELECTION Amends the Rescue Squad Districts Act. Provides that electors of a rescue squad district may petition for a referendum to allow the board of trustees of the rescue squad district to be elected. Further provides that if the referendum for election of the board of trustees is approved, that the appointed members of the board of trustees will continue until their successors are elected and qualified. Illinois HB 3334 (99th) — RESCUE SQUAD DIST-BD ELECTION

Amends the Rescue Squad Districts Act. Provides that electors of a rescue squad district may petition for a referendum to allow the board of trustees of the rescue squad district to be elected. Further provides that if the referendum for election of the board of trustees is approved, that the appointed members of the board of trustees will continue until their successors are elected and qualified. Effective immediately.
