Provides that the provision added by the amendatory Act does not apply to a board or other body to which the Attorney General, Secretary of State, Comptroller, or Treasurer also appoints one or more members. Illinois HB 4078 (99th) — ETHICS-LATE TERM APPOINTEE DEF
Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Provides that a "late term appointee" also means a person who is appointed to an office by a board or other body having one or more members appointed by the Governor, when the Governor does not succeed himself or herself as Governor, and the effective date of the appointment is 90 or fewer days before the end of the appointing Governor's term.
