Bill MUNI CD-BLIGHT-PROPERTY LIENS Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that liens obtained for the removal of neglected weeds, grass, trees, and bushes; pest extermination; removal of infected trees; removal of garbage, debris, and graffiti; the costs of removal, securing, and enclosing on abandoned residential property; and the cost of the demolition, repair, enclosure, or removal of dangerous and unsafe buildings or uncompleted and abandoned buildings shall also affix to all real property of the property owner or owners. Illinois SB 1380 (99th) — MUNI CD-BLIGHT-PROPERTY LIENS

Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that liens obtained for the removal of neglected weeds, grass, trees, and bushes; pest extermination; removal of infected trees; removal of garbage, debris, and graffiti; the costs of removal, securing, and enclosing on abandoned residential property; and the cost of the demolition, repair, enclosure, or removal of dangerous and unsafe buildings or uncompleted and abandoned buildings shall also affix to all real property of the property owner or owners.
