Bill DNR-PROPERTY TRANSFER Creates the Prairie Wind Trail Property Transfer Act. Contains legislative findings and defines terms. Authorizes the Department of Natural Resources to convey certain real estate comprising the contemplated Prairie Wind Trail to adjacent owners if specified conditions are met. Provides that in order to facilitate the transfers authorized by the Act, the Secretary of State shall establish a repository for the deeds, surveys, and related materials for each parcel within the Secretary of State Index Department. Provides that the Department of Natural Resources shall accept requests to transfer land for 2 years following the effective date of the Act. Provides that the Department shall hold public hearings concerning the provisions of the Act. Provides that any determinations required by the Act and any actions to transfer real estate are within the sole discretion of the Department and are not subject to judicial or administrative review. Illinois SB 1717 (99th) — DNR-PROPERTY TRANSFER

Creates the Prairie Wind Trail Property Transfer Act. Contains legislative findings and defines terms.
