Bill Public employees deferred compensation plan. Amends the notice requirement in the statute concerning the public employees deferred compensation plan to provide that notice to an employee of the provisions of the statute: (1) is not required to be in writing; (2) is not required to be provided to the employee with the employee's first paycheck (assumed by the statute to be a paper paycheck); and (3) must include the contact information of the plan administrator, instead of the contact information of the auditor of state. us/states/in Indiana General Assembly 2020 SB 180 Indiana SB 180 (2020)

Indiana SB 180 (2020) — Public employees deferred compensation plan.

Amends the notice requirement in the statute concerning the public employees deferred compensation plan to provide that notice to an employee of the provisions of the statute: (1) is not required to be in writing; (2) is not required to be provided to the employee with the employee's first paycheck (assumed by the statute to be a paper paycheck); and (3) must include the contact information of the plan administrator, instead of the contact information of the auditor of state.
