Bill AN ACT relating to tourism. Amend KRS 11A.010 to eliminate the waiver of a registration fee for a presenter at a tourism-related conference from the definition of "gift", and clarify that "public servant" does not include the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet or its subdivisions; amend KRS 11A.045 to exclude activities involving sponsorships granted by the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet in promoting the Commonwealth, and individuals traveling on their own acting on behalf of the cabinet; amend KRS 11A.055 to exclude tourism promotion from the prohibitions on fund raising by state agencies, and exclude nonprofit organizations affiliated with the cabinet from the provisions of the chapter; amend KRS 45A.045 to allow sponsorships by the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet to be granted by noncompetitive negotiation and make technical corrections; amend KRS 45A.810 to conform.
