Bill Relating to marine cleanup; and prescribing an effective date. Modifies the meaning of terms used for purposes of the abandoned and derelict vessel laws. Clarifies that an authorized agency may remove and dispose of marine debris without notice. Creates the offense of abandoning a vessel. Punishes by a maximum fine of $2,000. Expands the offense of possession of a derelict vessel. Authorizes the Director of the Department of State Lands to procure or supervise the procurement of goods, services and personal services related to the removal of abandoned and derelict vessels. Oregon SB 795 (2025R1) — Relating to marine cleanup; and prescribing an effective date.
