Bill Teachers, Principals and School Personnel - As enacted, adds the director of schools as a person to whom a principal must report the principal's direct knowledge of an offense of assault and battery or vandalism committed by a student on school property endangering the life, health, or safety of others; expands the educator's bill of rights to include the educator's right to report an offense of assault and battery or vandalism committed by a student on school property and the educator's right to receive benefits if the educator is a teacher who is absent from their assigned duties due to injuries caused by a criminal act committed against the teacher in the course of the teacher's employment activities. - Amends TCA Title 49.
