Virginia HB 2238 (2021) — Licensed private schools for students with disabilities; accreditation.

Licensed private schools for students with disabilities; accreditation. Directs the Board of Education to require, pursuantto regulation, any private school for students with disabilitiesthat is licensed by the Board, as a condition for renewal of itsinitial license to operate, to obtain accreditation from an accreditingagency recognized by the Virginia Council for Private Education withinthree years of the issuance of its initial triennial license by theBoard.
