Sports betting; technical amendments. Clarifiesthe procedures by which the Virginia Lottery determines whether anevent is considered youth sports, on which betting is prohibited.The bill clarifies that a permit issued to a casino operator shallnot count toward the maximum of 12 permits that the Director of theVirginia Lottery can issue and makes technical amendments relatedto the interaction between sports betting law and casino gaming law.
