Virginia HB 144 (2024) — Speed limits; notification to primary liaison in each locality when change occurs.

Change in speed limits; notification. Requiresthe Department of Transportation, if the Commissioner of Highwaysincreases or decreases a speed limit, to (i) notify the primary liaisonwith the Department in each locality within which such speed limitchange will occur and (ii) place roadside signage notifying driversof the upcoming change in such speed limit.
