Bill	Extortion Of Immigrants Engaging In Lawful Acts	Under current law, it is criminal extortion to threaten to report another person's immigration status to law enforcement to induce the threatened person to give the person money or another item of value. Colorado HB 21-1057 (2021A) — Extortion Of Immigrants Engaging In Lawful Acts

Under current law, it is criminal extortion to threaten to report another person's immigration status to law enforcement to induce the threatened person to give the person money or another item of value.
