Florida SB 1136 (2024) — Regulation of Water Resources

Regulation of Water Resources; Revising the qualification requirements a person must meet in order to take the water well contractor license examination; authorizing certain authorities who have been delegated enforcement powers by water management districts to apply disciplinary guidelines adopted by the districts; prohibiting a person or business entity from advertising water well drilling or construction services in specified circumstances; providing that the Department of Environmental Protections variance review and advisory committee is not responsible for reviewing water well permitting, etc.
