Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code
now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 ->
59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun,
verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make
legal-us-code default now covers every title.

# 33 U.S.C. § 522 - Existing provisions of law
## Text
The first sentence of section 494 of this title, and section 502 of this title, shall be inapplicable with respect to any bridge to which the provisions of this subchapter are applicable.

L. 116283 repealed this section. Text of subsec. (a) was reinstated by Pub. L. 117263 and redesignated as text of entire section. See above.

Effective Date of 2022 AmendmentPub. L. 117263, div. K, title CXVIII, § 11805(b), Dec. 23, 2022, 136 Stat. 4165, provided that: “The provision reinstated under subsection (a) [this section] shall be treated as if such section 8507(b) [of Pub. L. 116283, which had repealed this section] had never taken effect.”
