Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code
now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 ->
59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun,
verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make
legal-us-code default now covers every title.

# 37 U.S.C. § 464 - Regulations
## Text
This subchapter and subchapter I shall be administered under terms, rates, conditions, and regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Defense in consultation with the other administering Secretaries for members of the uniformed services. Such regulations shall be uniform for the Department of Defense and shall apply as uniformly as practicable to the uniformed services under the jurisdiction of the other administering Secretaries.

Travel and Transportation Allowances: Prohibition of Requirement of Zero-Emission VehiclePub. L. 118159, div. A, title VI, § 626, Dec. 23, 2024, 138 Stat. 1935, provided that: “(a) In General.—The Joint Travel Regulations for the Uniformed Services may not require that travel or transportation be in a zero-emission vehicle in order to be eligible a travel or transportation allowance. “(b) Rule of Construction.—This section shall not be construed to prohibit the payment of such an allowance in the case of a member of the uniformed services who uses a zero-emission vehicle for travel or transportation that—“(1) the member owns; or “(2) is provided to such member by a rental company.”
