# California AB 924 (20132014) — Grand theft.
Under existing law, every person who feloniously steals, takes, carries, leads, or drives away the personal property of another, or who fraudulently appropriates the property which has been entrusted to him or her, among other things, is guilty of theft. Under existing law, grand theft is generally theft committed when the money, labor, or real or personal property taken is of a value exceeding $950, or when certain kinds of property are taken.
