# California AB 1015 (20152016) — Parking: car share vehicles.
Existing law provides that the Vehicle Code is applicable and uniform throughout the state and in all counties and municipalities, and prohibits a local authority from enacting or enforcing an ordinance or resolution on those matters covered by the Vehicle Code unless expressly authorized by that code. Existing law authorizes local authorities to prohibit or restrict, by ordinance or resolution, the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles on certain streets or highways, or portions thereof, during all or certain hours of the day.
