# California AB 285 (20152016) — Professions and vocations: registration.

||
|
||
(1) Existing law defines and regulates the activities of legal document assistants and unlawful detainer assistants, as those terms are defined. Existing law requires a legal document assistant or unlawful detainer assistant to be registered in the county in which his or her principal place of business is located, which is deemed the primary place of registration, and in any other county in which he or she performs acts for which registration is required, which is deemed a secondary place of registration.
