# California SB 332 (20172018) — Voter registration: foster youth.
Existing law establishes the Aid to Families with Dependent Children-Foster Care (AFDC-FC) program, under which counties provide payments to foster care providers on behalf of qualified children in foster care and to nonminor dependents up to 21 years of age. Existing law requires, in order to be provided AFDC-FC benefits, one of several conditions to be satisfied, including, for a nonminor dependent, that he or she has been placed pursuant to a mutual agreement or is reentering foster care placement pursuant to a voluntary agreement.
