||
(1) The Department of Consumer Affairs is comprised of healing arts boards that are responsible for the licensure and regulation of healing arts licensees. Under existing law, the Substance Abuse Coordination Committee is created within the department and the committee is required to formulate uniform and specific standards in specified areas that each healing arts board is required to use in dealing with substance-abusing licensees.
