# Illinois HB 3801 (94th) — MED SCHOOL-BACKGROUND CHECK

||

Creates the Medical School Applicant Criminal Background Check Act. Provides that an applicant for admission to a medical school in the State must submit to, and each medical school located in the State must require, a criminal background check for felony convictions by the Department of State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of the medical school admissions application process.
